The length of orgasmic contractions, their degree and the space between them vary from one orgasm to another and it is different for all women. Women may experience a high peak of pleasure that fades away quickly while some may feel it as a more wide-spread and internal sensation. Others feel it arriving at a peak and gradually tapers off into a series of plateaus.

During an orgasm, a woman may arch her body, tense her muscles and a grimace falls over her face. There is only one type of orgasm in women. Orgasms for women come in waves and sometimes, women may not be sure if their orgasms are single or multiple. Multiple orgasms are usually experienced in a chain, one after another. Women are capable of having many orgasms in a single intercourse session and this is the major difference between women and men. Orgasm during penetration is superior but rare for most women. The orgasm feels less acute and more diffused as the penis alters the focus from the clitoris to the inside of the vagina. With the vagina filled with a penis, the sensations are obscured. Nevertheless, women who are able to experience an orgasm during an intercourse prefer it as it is emotionally satisfying. It involves the complete body contact, holding and at the same time giving oneself to the partner is felt as whole and loving. These feelings can be felt whether an orgasm takes place or even when its absent during the intercourse. Most important to women are experiences of regular masturbatory orgasms.

If properly stimulated after the first climax, a woman is capable of having a second and up to the sixth orgasm before she is fully satiated. Clitorally stimulated, she can have five to six orgasms within a minute but this differs from woman to woman. Most women who orgasm feels absolutely satisfied with a single climax and do not need to have six in a row to be in total bliss.

Get to know how your partner’s responses to each of them and vary what you do to them to sustain interest and enthusiasm. Make sure your partner has plenty of orgasms. For a woman, it’s like chocolate as one is never enough and the next is better than the last! Perhaps, she is just lusting for more. This doesn’t always mean that more is good or she needs to have many to satisfy her.
